g-Lish Sale + My first set of Makeup Brushes

Posted by Maryani at 9:41 PM

After my second job interview yesterday, Mommy and I went to Trinoma to eat dinner.  Mommy wanted to buy a few things so we agreed to meet about an hour later.  I originally wanted to buy loose powder from g-lish because it's cheap and it has really cute packaging! However, I ended up buying other stuff too since everything's on sale O_O Too bad I didn't have that much money with me (BOO UNEMPLOYEMPENT) so I wasn't able to buy a lot~ I really REALLY hope that this Renovation Sale be extended!

Anyway, here are the products that I bought:

I bought everything for only PhP405! o(*゚▽゚*)o

My first set of makeup brushes! So happy~! I finally bought one.  Bought this for ONLY PhP175. OMG.  Super sulit! You can buy the brushes individually too but it's around PhP75 each.  If I'm not mistaken, this set costs around PhP500 before :D

I've always wanted to buy the 7-pc makeup brush set from Suesh (the Pink/White one OF COURSE) but it costs PhP850 and I don't even know how to use them.  Plus the brush set from Suesh is a little bit longer so this g-lish set is easier to carry around.  Too bad it doesn't come with a free kit or something but who cares? It's only PhP175 so it's fine :) Plus this will be a good practice for makeup newbies like myself~ :D

One thing I like about is that it has a cute pink label on each brush so it becomes easier for people like me who have no idea where to use the brushes. Hihi.

I bought these lippies for PhP80, buy one take one! I've never had this kind of lipstick before so I gave it a try.  Not really a big fan but the colors are quite cute. Heh. However, it's so glossy and glittery and I don't see the difference between the two colors when applied.  The one on top is Holywood Glam and the other one is Girl Next Door.  Maybe I'll try combining this with a lipstick for a more dramatic effect? XD

Ahhhh. I regret buying this one.  This wasn't on sale because Ate Saleslady said this will not be one of the products that will be phased out. It's Baby Doll loose powder, PhP150.  There are two other colors /shades available: Porcelain Princess and Sunkissed Gal.  Of course, Porcelain Princess is my number one choice because it's pink! But when I tried the testers, I liked this one so much because it has glitters! Remember the Blue Pond's loose powder before?  They're a bit similar but this one has a more natural shade.

BUT the biggest disappointment is that when I got home and tried it, IT HAS NO GLITTERS AT ALL!!! щ(゜ロ゜щ) I don't know why, though.  I'm a hundred percent sure that the tester has glitters because I tried it a couple of times before buying the product. Huhuhu.

Overall, I was really happy with my g-lish purchase. :)
